The Printroom we understand that bereavement is a very difficult time and we are here to assist you in creating personalised funeral order of service.

Our Funeral Order of Service’s are printed on a 250gsm Silk card for a 4page order of service. If you are having more pages then the inside pages are printed onto a 150gsm Silk Stock.

Each order of Service is scored and double stapled in the spine to create an A5 size booklet.

You can upload your files for printing or if you are local you are always welcome to visit us at our Main office in Bracknell where you can meet one of our specialists to go through your individual requirements.

Order Of Service Funeral Printing

Organising a funeral is a difficult time for you. At More Than Just Print, we have designed our site to make it as easy as possible to order your Order Of Service. However, we understand that sometimes you may need to speak to someone when ordering. Rather than getting your head around a website. Our online chat is available from 9-5 pm on weekdays. Our phones are also manned 9-5 pm on weekdays. What Should an Order of Service Include?

Whether you choose an order of service booklet for funerals, filling up all those pages can be difficult when you are not sure what to include or whether this would be your first time, so we have included a list of what the average order of service funeral booklet includes:

The name
The date
The venue
A paragraph about the person
A list of close family members
Any other locations, for reception or wake, for example
A thank you to guests at the back

How to get started

All we need from you is the text (ideally in Word format, but not essential), plus any images that you wish to use. Images can be supplied digitally via email or wetransfer, or we can scan precious printed photographs and return them to you safely and securely.

On the other hand, all funeral printing comes with proof which will need to be checked and signed before we go to print. We will also check this both in our Pre-Press Department and personally with one of our Account Managers.

Paper Choices

We use the latest high-end digital printing presses which reproduce the high quality and sleek photographs specifically handed to us by you.
Therefore the cover is printed on a smooth high-quality 250gsm white card, while the inside pages are a 170gsm. Our booklet maker creases the cover and attaches two staples to produce a professionally finished booklet. Usually, the average order of service booklet is between 4-12 pages for the inside.

If you are interested in memory boards for the funeral, these are usually designed the same as the front of your Order Of Service, In conclusion, these would be printed onto a thick board and displayed in the front entrance at the church or at the wake. Design Service

If you do not have a design for your Funeral Order Of Service we have our own Graphic Design Studio in-house. Pick the Artwork portion and we will create your Order of Service For you. Our designers will turn your idea into a fitting Order Of Service for your loved one. We can create a theme or use an existing simple design. We’ll add photos to the front and various images to the inside for you. Order Of Services includes hymns, poems and Eulogy if needed.  Furthermore, funerals are different, so we will make your Order Of Service fitting for the Service.

Designing Your Own

We will accept a High-Resolution PDF file for printing. If you do not have any specific Design Software you are always able to download a design from this site.


  • Simply choose the quantities and various specifications from the drop-down menus.

Sending artwork

If you are sending artwork, you can do this in two ways: 1) upload during Order (for small files up to 10mb only) 2) Upload at Check out 3) uploading to our WeTransfer site Please use your name and order reference when sending files, so we can quickly reconcile against your order

PDF Files

High resolution (300dpi) files are the best for us to work with. Please see the settings below to get the best quality printing.
  • Resolution: Choose High Resolution
  • Compression Settings – For colour and greyscale this should be downsampled to 300dpi with “auto compression” set on high
  • Font Embedding – Should be set to “embed all fonts”
  • The Colour needs to be set as CMYK

Convert all text to outlines and embed all fonts. Save as a PDF file with 3mm bleed and crop marks.

The resolution should be set to 300dpi. Save the file as either JPEG or TIFF. Other files not listed above must be saved either as an EPS or JPEG.

Adobe InDesign Software LogoAdobe InDesign

All fonts and pictures used in your artwork need to be supplied to us in a separate folder using the “package” function under the “file” menu. Zip your files and folders before uploading or sending them to us via e-mail. Please also include a PDF. We can then use the PDF to make sure that nothing is missing or moved.

Artwork Bleed

  • Please supply a 3mm bleed around your artwork.
  • Please ensure that the colour is set to CMYK, not RGB.
  • Please provide crop marks around all your supplied artwork.

Microsoft Office Files

We cannot print straight from the following programmes. However, we can save a PDF file and re-send back to you for proofing.
  • Word
  • Excel
  • Publisher
  • PowerPoint
You can save your Microsoft Office files as a PDF yourself if you would prefer. That way you can see exactly what the printed file will look like. Please note: It is important when supplying a PDF from a Microsoft Office application, that extra care is taken to ensure any spot colours are created correctly in your original document/file. Please supply a screenshot of your Microsoft Office file before conversion. You can do this by following the instruction below for both Mac and PC. Mac: Press ‘Command’ + ‘Shift’ + 3 for a full screenshot, or ‘Command’ + ‘Shift’ + 4 to select an area to screenshot. This will save a PNG file to your desktop. PC: There is a key on your keyboard that says ‘Print Screen’. You can then paste this into a document or email to send over.

Is  Your Printing Environmentally Friendly?

Yes, our paper is all FSC approved. Meaning that all of the paper stock that we use has been harvested in a responsible manner.  FSC stands for the Forest Stewardship Council. This an independent non-governmental organisation that promotes the responsible management of the world’s forests. You can learn more about FSC here. How Do You Print Your products?

We use the latest digital print equipment for certain jobs, like smaller run manuals, brochures, printed invitations and cards. For the larger run work like the 5000, 10,000 leaflets or longer print runs we will use Litho Print Machines. When we are printing our Large Format printing like exhibition banners, pull-up banners, and fabric banners we have a fully kitted out Large Format Department.

We ship with DHL Express Delivery and DHL Parcel for our manuals and books.

Is there a minimum order amount?

No minimum order, You can order just one Perfect Bound manual if you want to. For regular, ongoing manuals, please speak to our Team for bulk discounts and explore our bespoke online ordering sites. We have dedicated Account Managers that look after our regular clients.

What Artwork Files do you Accept?

We prefer PDF files. However, if you don’t have a PDF file, send us a WordExcel file, and we will send you back a PDF proof.
